OUR STORY

We are Lorelaine and Cameron.

Two individuals from different parts of the world united by accounting in the prairies of Edmonton, Alberta. We are both CPA's with a passion to travel, eat local food and hike. We met on the job and the rest is history - we are recently engaged and is currently  on a sabbatical leave in search of adventure and knowledge. We are excited to see the world and learn the different cultures and traditions each place has to offer.

We are backpackers and budget travelers. We travel the world with a backpack and get through our daily travels $50 at a time. People mistakenly think of us as being rich or spoiled as we travel more than the average person - let me tell you we are not. We travel wisely, not lavishly. We take advantage of last minute deals, happy hour menus, free tours, free events and a ton of research to make sure we get the best travel experience. That being said we don't always sacrifice quality over money but we ensure we get the best deal that satisfies our needs.

With over 50 combined countries under our belt, we've gone through frustrations with our research - from  booking (and not booking) things to places to go and do, things to pack, places to eat, visa information, and when to go (and when not to go) - just to name a few. We want to share with you our frustrations and successes with the hope that your experience will be improved as a result of it.

All our adventures will be documented in the form of our blog posts and videos in the hopes of providing inspiration, knowledge and a good laugh - walking you through everything from things to do, places to eat, history summaries, visa information, currencies, things to buy and more. We are also currently searching and experimenting with the development of potential products and services to further address these frustrations.
